Black Dyed Mulch
Coloured mulches have become very popular over the last decade. They offer variety and individuality for landscape beds. This material is an attractive ground covering mulch that insulates soil and plants year-round, holds moisture, suppresses weeds and protects plants from hard rain. Coloured Mulch holds aesthetic appeal for any landscaping project and is designed to hold its color for an entire season.
The color is black. The pH can range between 6 and 7. The salt content is low. This product is safe to use around your pets and plants.
Redgum Chips
Redgum is a long-lasting, attractive mulch with a natural red colour which is popular with gardeners all over Australia.
This material is an attractive ground covering mulch that insulates soil and plants year-round, holds moisture, suppresses weeds and protects plants from hard rain. Redgum will last considerably longer than the pine mulches as they decompose slower.
We recommend that redgum chips are laid to a depth of 50mm – 100mm thick for maximum effect.
Forest Mulch

Its coarser nature is more suited to acreage, semi-rural properties and urban development projects. This long lasting product provides effective slow release soil enhancement properties and prevents drying, cracking and erosion of soils.
Certified Softfall
Peards Albury Softfall playground mulch is a certified playground surface material (to AS/NZS 4422). It is a cushioning mulch, completely free of sharp materials and designed specifically for playgrounds. Made from 100% pine plantation chips, Softfall is completely sustainable and the preferred choice of playground installers.
Note: Impact testing as per AS/NZS 4422
The critical fall height is 3.1m and for a play area with this fall height the installation depth would be 340mm
In heavy traffic areas increase the installation depth by 20% to measure 410mm
Pine Bark
Pine Bark is a premium bark that stands out from the rest due to its lack of ‘White Wood’ content. It is a deep rich brown colour that is extremely attractive in all types of gardens.

Although it is slower to break down, Pine Bark can provide good drainage when mixed throughout soils.
Red Dyed Mulch
